Macintosh is a series of operating system developed and marketed by Apple. There are different versions of Mac operating systems such as Panther, Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. Lion is the latest version of Mac operating system which was released in Oct 2010. The main reason behind the popularity of Macintosh is there inbuilt applications such as Launchpad, Time Machine, Finder, etc. With every new edition of Macintosh Apple integrate a new application to make human work easy.

Macintosh hard disk hold digital data such as documents, images, videos, photos etc. Hard disk of Mac can be divided into many drives (depending on the hard disk size) called partitions. Partitions are mainly done to segregate user’s data.  Partitions can be done by Disk Utility tool provided by operating system or by using third party tools. Unfamiliar with Disk Utility tool user sometimes delete the partition containing useful data. Step 1: Download and install demo version of the software and double click on software icon present on desktop to launch it. Step 2: This step shows the users the number of partitions Mac systems has. Here it shows only one partition as the Mac system we are using contains only one partition. Select the partition click “Next” to proceed to recovery.

Step 3: The below figure shows you the beginning of the scanning process.

Step 4:  When scanning process completes all the files and folders, which were present on the partition, are show. Please refer figure below.
