Mac Recovery after Formatting Hard Drive
Hard drive is formatted in order to make it available for storing and accessing data. But if it is formatted when some files are stored on it, you end up losing all your data after formatting the hard drive. So, it is always safer to use Mac recovery software for retrieving lost or deleted files and to perform Mac data recovery after formatting hard drive. This software scans your entire formatted or corrupted hard drive sector by sector with the help of in-built scanning technique. When you format the hard drive, data present on it will get deleted but not permanently, deleted files can be restored by using this recovery software unless it is overwritten by new data. You can comfortable make use of this software to perform Mac file recovery from deleted partition of hard drive and external hard drive, that have HFS+ and HFSX file systems.
Apart from recovery from hard drives, this recovery tool is effective in retrieving Mac data from USB drives, FireWire drives and memory cards used in digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones and on personal computers. Formatting a hard drive becomes necessary in many scenarios. Some of them are listed here:
Virus attack: While storing data on the hard drive there are chances of file intrusion which makes your files inaccessible and sometimes causes severe corruption which forces you to format the drive.
Journal corruption: Journal files which stores the updated information about the hard drive may, sometimes, get corrupted due to which the operating system points to wrong file location. This will lead to data becoming unreadable and thus you have to format your hard drive.
Input & Output errors: Such input and output errors occur due to some physical errors or problem with the logical part of your hard drive. However, you should use this recovery tool to overcome data loss in Mac OS X due to input and output errors and recover lost files from the hard drive.
Volumes fail to mount: Sometimes volumes on hard drive fail to mount which is required to make the data readable. In such a case, files present on that particular volume becomes inaccessible and you have to format the volume/drive.
